Serial rapist Darren Sharper sentenced to nine years for Arizona guilty plea

Former NFL All-Pro safety Darren Sharper, a now-convicted serial rapist, pleaded guilty to sexual assault and attempted sexual assault as he reached a plea bargain with Arizona prosecutors. He's been sentenced to nine years in prison and probation for life, according to Maricopa County Superior Court records. He's also expected to plead guilty to drugging and sexually assaulting women in California, Nevada and Louisiana. Sharper is expected to serve a long prison sentence.
