Sharper wants to represent red, white, blue vs. Shiancoe

What was a friendly game of tweet for tweet turned decidedly unfriendly on Wednesday when Visanthe Shiancoe posted a photo of the target he used during a shooting expedition with the Minnesota National Guard.

Shiancoe put a big No. 42 on the chest of a target photo of Osama bin Laden and then identified bin Laden as Darren Sharper, the former Vikings safety. The two have been going back-and-forth since Sharper tweeted that X marks the spot with quarterback Brett Favre following his ankle surgery.

Let’s just say that this may be the end of the friendship. Sharper fired back at Shiancoe with a three-part tweet:

@vshiancoe ok homeboy you done went too far, making me out to be something that has brought this country alot of heartache.
Imma bust you right under your chinstrap from the first play on. I don't care about the fine. F the money Imma do it for the red, white&blue
And you'll see me cuz I'll be dressed in black & gold. Protect your neck that's all the warning you get.

We didn’t need any more reason to look forward to the season opener between the Vikings and Saints. This could be a nice side story. Stay tuned. Surely, Shiancoe has some type of reply in mind.
