Shaun O'Hara likely done for remainder of preseason

The New York Giants figure to be without center Shaun O’Hara for the remainder of preseason as he had a cast on his lower left leg today to help him deal with tendinitis in the ankle.

Veteran guard Rich Seubert, who is coming back after missing a few weeks with a broken left hand, will move over to center for the time being, according to Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News.

“They’re going to try to resolve this, so they put a cast on him, and they’re going to hold him for three or four day to see if they can’t get these things straightened out,” Giants coach Tom Coughlin said.

The ankle has been an issue for O’Hara thoughout training camp. The Giants are resting him now with the hope that the ankle is not an issue throughout the season.
