Shout of Hernandez's name leads to fight in diner
A fight erupted in a Connecticut diner over the weekend after someone shouted, "Hey, Aaron Hernandez" in the restaurant, according to the Hartford Courant.
The patron who shouted that in the diner thought the man looked like the former New England Patriots tight end, who was arrested on first-degree murder charges last week in the shooting of Odin Lloyd.
Two of the three people arrested told police that Hernandez's brother, D.J. Hernandez, who is a graduate assistant at the University of Iowa and a former University of Connecticut quarterback, was sitting at the table with them, but was not involved in the altercation.
Alberto Lopez, 30, of Bristol, Conn.; Jesus Agosto, 36, of New Britain, Conn. and Thomas Miller, 30, of Torrington, Conn., were each charged with third-degree assault, breach of peace, and third-degree criminal mischief, police said.
