Sidney Rice expected to be ready for OTAs

Recently released by the Seahawks, wide receiver Sidney Rice will hope to join a new team with free agency approaching this coming Tuesday.

Part of that will be to prove to teams that his knee is 100 percent and that's he ready to work.

The good news for Rice is that it appears he will be good to go when teams begin their offseason workouts. According to a report from USA Today, Rice is expected to have medical clearance by the time OTAs begin around the league.

Rice tore his ACL this past season. His injury and the fact he demanded a high salary in 2014 made him a cap casualty this offseason.
