Source: 49ers trade Kenneth Acker to Chiefs

The San Francisco 49ers have traded cornerback Kenneth Acker to the Kansas City Chiefs, according to a league source. He's a former sixth-round draft pick from SMU. As a junior, Acker made 128 tackles and six interceptions with a defensive touchdown. Acker had a stress fracture in his left foot and was placed on injured reserve. Acker had three interceptions and 58 solo tackles with eight pass deflections in his second NFL season.
