Source: Bears tried out linebacker Jonathan Brown today

The Chicago Bears worked out former Illinois linebacker Jonathan Brown today, according to a league source.

Brown went undrafted and signed with the Arizona Cardinals following the draft. He has a previous stint on their practice squad.

As a senior, Brown recorded 119 tackles with an interception and a forced fumble and was named a team captain.

Brown played in the Senior Bowl all-star game.

A three-year starter, Brown is 6-foot, 240 pounds.
