Source: Bengals sign Andrew Whitworth to $14.2 million deal

The Cincinnati Bengals signed veteran offensive tackle Andrew Whitworth to a one-year contract extension worth $14.2 million that includes a $2 million signing bonus, according to a league source. The deal, negotiated by agent Pat Dye Jr., includes a $5 million base salary this year, and annual $200,000 workout bonuses.
It has up to $1.2 million in a Pro Bowl escalator clause.
His salary-cap figure in 2015 is $7.2 million.
In 2016, he has a $5.8 million base salary and a $8 million salary-cap figure.
In 2016, he has up to $1 million in a roster bonus paid per game active, which is $62,500 per game he's on the 46-man roster.
