Source: Bills working out Eric Thomas today
The Buffalo Bills are working out former Troy wide receiver Eric Thomas, according to a league source.
Thomas went undrafted. He had a private workout for the San Diego Chargers before the draft and visited the Indianapolis Colts.
Thomas ran the 40-yard dash in 4.53 seconds at his Pro Day workout. The 6-foot-1, 216-pounder also registered a 37-inch vertical leap and a 10-3 broad jump.
Thomas played in the Senior Bowl all-star game.
Thomas also played in the Players Association Collegiate Bowl and the Medal of Honor Bowl.
Last season, Thomas caught 66 passes for 993 yards and a dozen touchdowns.
The All-Sunbelt Conference selection is the conference's all-time leader with 28 career touchdown catches.
As a junior, Thomas caught 55 passes for 667 yards and seven touchdowns.
As a sophomore, Thomas caught 67 passes for 875 yards.
