Source: Boston College quarterback Tyler Murphy visiting Steelers today

Boston College quarterback Tyler Murphy is visiting the Pittsburgh Steelers today, according to a league source. The dual-threat quarterback rushed for 1,079 yards last season, breaking Clemson quarterback Woodrow Dantzler's Atlantic Coast Conference record of 1,061 rushing yards set in 2011. Murphy broke Boston College's career rushing record set previously by Doug Flutie. Murphy transferred after graduating from the University of Florida. Murphy rushed for 10 touchdowns last season. He passed for 1,526 yards, 11 touchdowns and 10 interceptions last season. At Florida, Murphy started six games and passed for 1,216 yards, six touchdowns and five interceptions. Murphy had 30 touchdowns, 1,100 passing yards and 1,100 rushing yards and won the triple jump in high school.
