Source: Buccaneers cutting Solomon Patton

The Tampa Bay Bucccaneers are releasing rookie kickoff returner Solomon Patton today, according to a league source.

Patton is being cut with the addition of kick returner Trindon Holliday.

Patton played collegiately at the University of Florida.

He went undrafted.

Patton has played in six games this season for the Buccaneers.

At Florida, Patton had 52 receptions for 635 yards and six touchdowns.
