Source: Cardinals signing WR Kevin Ozier

The Arizona Cardinals are signing former Arizona State wide receiver Kevin Ozier to a three-year contract following a successful rookie minicamp, according to a league source.

Ozier was nominated for the Burlsworth Trophy given to the most outstanding player who started his career as a walk-on, which was won by Wisconsin wide receiver Jared Abbrederis.

Ozier eventually earned a scholarship after having to work several jobs to pay tuition and occasionally sleeping in his car when he didn't have a place to stay.
