Source: Chargers sign D.J. Adams, try out Shaun Draughn

The San Diego Chargers have re-signed running back D.J. Adams, according to a league source.

Adams tried out for the Chargers today along with former Chicago Bears and Baltimore Ravens running back Shaun Draughn.

Adams was signed by the Chargers last year after going undrafted out of Portland State.

He rushed for 1,600 yards and 19 touchdowns as a senior and was an All-Big Sky Conference selection.

Adams transferred from Maryland.
