Source: Chiefs sign former Kansas corner Kevin Short after he goes undrafted in supplemental draft
Former University of Kansas and Fort Scott Community College cornerback Kevin Short has signed a free agent contract with the Kansas City Chiefs, according to a league source.
It's a standard three-year contract for the undrafted rookie.
Short went undrafted in the NFL supplemental draft Thursday.
Short was declared academically ineligible for last season with the Jayhawks after signing with them in 2013 and redshirting.
Short left school in September for personal reasons.
Short played for Fort Scott in 2012 and was a standout.
Short has excellent size at 6-foot-2, 190 pounds.
