Source: Cowboys cut Thaddeus Gibson

The Dallas Cowboys have released defensive end-outside linebacker Thaddeus Gibson, according to a league source.

Gibson is a former Pittsburgh Steelers fourth-round draft pick.

He played collegiately at Ohio State.

He has also played for the San Francisco 49ers, Chicago Bears, Tennessee Titans, Houston Texans, Washington Redskins and the San Francisco 49ers.

Gibson is represented by Authentic Athletix. He made the switch this spring from Minneapolis-based Blake Baratz.
