Source: Eagles placing Arrelious Benn on injured reserve

The Philadelphia Eagles are placing wide receiver Arrelious Benn on injured reserve, according to a source

He was acquired via a trade last year then re-signed this spring.

The former Illinois standout and Tampa Bay Buccaneers second-round draft pick tore his anterior cruciate ligament during training camp last year.

The 6-foot-2, 220-pounder has 59 career catches for 862 yards and five touchdowns.
