Source: Ed Dickson staying with Panthers on three-year deal

The Carolina Panthers are bringing back veteran tight end Ed Dickson on a three-year contract, according to a league source. Dickson played well, working in tandem with standout tight end Greg Olsen last season. Dickson is an athletic former third-round draft pick of the Baltimore Ravens from Oregon. Dickson caught 10 passes for 115 yards and a touchdown, starting 10 games last season for Carolina. Dickson caught 54 passes for 528 yards and five touchdowns in 2011 with the Ravens. Dickson also drew interest from the Cleveland Browns and other NFL teams, according to sources. Follow me on Twitter: @RavensInsider Aaron Wilson covers the Ravens for The Baltimore Sun
