Source: Florida linebacker Neiron Ball visited Patriots, Buccaneers, Broncos, Texans, worked out for Falcons, Texans, Rams, Steelers, Cardinals

Florida linebacker Neiron Ball has visits with the New England Patriots, Denver Broncos, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Houston Texans, according to a source. Ball also has private workouts with the Atlanta Falcons, St. Louis Rams, Pittsburgh Steelers, Arizona Cardinals and Texans. Medically cleared following microfracture knee surgery, Ball ran the 40-yard dash in 4.56 seconds and is regarded as an ascending draft prospect. He also had a 34 1/2 inch vertical leap and a 4.26 three-cone drill. The 6-foot-2, 236-pounder bench pressed 225 pounds 22 times at the NFL scouting combine. Ball overcame ruptured blood vessels in his brain earlier in his career with the Gators to return to play. He was diagnosed with ateriovenous malformation, a tangling of blood vessels. It was a congenital condition that required radio surgery. Ball started seven games last season before the knee injury. He started seven games as a junior, sacking Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston. Follow me on Twitter: @RavensInsider Aaron Wilson covers the Ravens for The Baltimore Sun
