University of Florida outside linebacker Ronald Powell has visited the Oakland Raiders and conducted private workouts for the New England Patriots, Detroit Lions and Indianapolis Colts, according to a league source.

He's also drawn interest from the Philadelphia Eagles and New Orleans Saints.

Powell returned last season from two tears of his anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee suffered in 2012 and recorded four sacks and seven tackles for losses. He was given a medical redshirt for the 2012 seasons.

He's drawing third-round to fourth-round grades from NFL teams.

At the NFL scouting combine, the 6-foot-3, 237-pounder ran the 40-yard dash in 4.65 seconds and bench pressed 225 pounds 21 times with a 35.5-inch vertical leap and a 9-6 broad jump.

He finished his career with 84 tackles, 19 tackles for losses and 11 sacks.

Powell was the consensus top defensive end and top overall recruit by Rivals in the nation coming out of California and played immediately as a true freshman before having 32 tackles, nine for losses and six sacks wit ha forced fumble during the 2011 season.

As a senior in high school, he was named an All-American by USA Today, Parade Magazine and EA Sports and was selected to play in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl where he earned Most Valuable Player honors.
