Source: Free agent tackle Eben Britton suspended for four games

The NFL has suspended veteran offensive tackle Eben Britton for the first four games of the regular season, according to a league source. Britton is free to sign with an NFL team and participate in offseason and preseason games and practices. Britton played 10 games last season for the Chicago Bears. Britton, 28, has played in 60 NFL games with 34 starts. He has played for the Jacksonville Jaguars previously for four seasons and has lined up at tackle and guard.
