Source: Indiana wide receiver Shane Wynn to visit Browns, Raiders
Indiana wide receiver Shane Wynn, one of the fastest players in the draft, has visits scheduled with the Cleveland Browns and Oakland Raiders, according to league sources.
Wynn ran the 40-yard dash in 4.23 seconds with a 36-inch vertical leap and a 10-foot broad jump. He bench pressed 225 pounds 13 times.
Wynn finished his career with 189 catches for 2,198 yards and 20 touchdowns. He also had 4,429 all-purpose yards, including 1,854 kick return yards.
The Cleveland native is the only Hoosier in school history with a receiving, rushing, kick return and punt return touchdown.
As a senior, he was named honorable-mention All-Big Ten Conference as he led the team with 56 catches for 708 yards and three touchdowns.
As a junior, he caught 46 passes for 633 yards and11 touchdowns.
As a sophomore, he caught 68 passes for 660 yards and six touchdowns.
As a freshman, he led the Hoosiers with 1,249 all-purpose yards.
Playing at Glenville High School, Wynn returned nine kicks for touchdowns. as a senior He caught 45 passes for 700 yards and had 18 touchdowns as a senior.
He won state titles in indoor and outdoor relay events.
