Source: Jordan Pugh tried out for Colts today

The IndianapoliS Colts worked out safety Jordan Pugh today, according to a league source.

He previously tried out for the Chicago Bears and Denver Broncos.

Pugh was with the Washington Redskins the previous two seasons. While he only appeared in four games during the 2013 season, he recorded an interception and pass deflection against the Broncos.

Pugh played college football at Texas A&M and was a sixth-round draft pick by Carolina in 2010 by Broncos coach John Fox.

Pugh played cornerback in high school and college, but has just played safety in the NFL.

He was coached in high school by former Dallas Cowboys Pro Bowl cornerback Everson Walls.

Walls played at Grambling with Pugh's father.
