Source: Lions restricted free agent George Johnson visited Buccaneers today

Detroit Lions restricted free agent defensive end George Johnson visited the Tampa Bay Buccaneers today, according to a league source. Johnson began his career with the Buccaneers. Johnson was assigned a $1.542 million original-round tender. They have the right of first refusal, but wouldn't get any draft pick compensation if they opted not to match an offer sheet. Johnson had 29 tackles and six sacks last season. Follow me on Twitter: @RavensInsider Aaron Wilson covers the Ravens for The Baltimore Sun
