Source: Lions worked out Corey Wooton

The Detroit Lions worked out former Minnesota Vikings and Chicago Bears veteran free agent defensive lineman Corey Wooton today, according to a league source. Wooton is a former Bears fourth-round draft pick selected out of Norhwestern in 2010. He was an All-Big Ten Conference selection. In 2012, Wooton played in every game and started seven with seven sacks recorded. He also scored a touchdown off a blocked punt. Two seasons ago, he started five games and had 34 tackles, three sacks and a forced fumble. He had 16 tackles and a sack last season.
