Murray State wide receiver Walter Powell is visiting the New York Jets on Monday, according to a league source.

Powell previously conducted a private workout for the Atlanta Falcons.

Powell caught 66 passes for 837 yards and 13 touchdowns last season.

He also had 346 kickoff return yards.

He averaged 31.5 yards per return, with one touchdown return.

At the NFL scouting combine, Powell ran the 40-yard dash in 4.63 seconds with 10 reps of 225 pounds in the bench press. He had a 31.5-inch vertical leap and a 10-foot broad jump.
