North Dakota State running back John Crockett has had private workouts for the Minnesota Vikings, Houston Texans, Tennessee Titans, Atlanta Falcons and the Jacksonville Jaguars, according to sources.
Projected as a middle-round to later-round draft target, Crockett rushed for 4,309 career yards and 41 touchdowns.
The 6-foot-1, 217 pounder set school records with 1,994 rushing yards last season along with 2,419 all-purpose yards and 368 carries.
Crockett ran the 40-yard dash in 4.6 seconds at the NFL scouting combine where he bench pressed 225 pounds 15 times and had a 40-inch vertical leap.
Crockett is a patient pro-style runner with good instincts and explosiveness.
