Source: Northwestern quarterback Trevor Siemian called by 11 NFL teams in last two days

Northwestern quarterback Trevor Siemian is in demand. Siemian has gotten calls in the past two days by the Denver Broncos, New York Jets, Jacksonville Jaguars, Oakland Raiders, Minnesota Vikings, Green Bay Packers, Cleveland Browns, Buffalo Bills, Seattle Seahawks, St. Louis Rams and Miami Dolphins, according to a souce. Siemian worked out for and visited the Browns, visited the Denver Broncos and worked out for the Chicago Bears. Siemian had a dinner meeting with Broncos quarterbacks coach Greg Knapp, who attended his Pro Day. Siemian tore his anterior cruciate ligament in November, preventing him from going to all-star games and the NFL scouting combine. Siemian passed for 5,931 career yards, 27 touchdowns and 24 interceptions. Siemian started 11 games prior to his injury against Purdue. He passed for 2,214 yards and seven touchdowns and rushed for five touchdowns last season. As a junior, he passed for 2,149 yards and 11 touchdowns.
