Source: Northwestern quarterback Trevor Siemian visited Broncos, working out for Bears
Northwestern quarterback Trevor Siemian visited the Denver Broncos last week and is working out for the Chicago Bears today, according to a league source.
Siemian has a dinner with Broncos quarterbacks coach Greg Knapp on Wednesday. Knapp is attending his Pro Day on Thursday.
Siemian tore his anterior cruciate ligament in November, preventing him from going to all-star games and the NFL scouting combine.
Siemian passed for 5,931 career yards, 27 touchdowns and 24 interceptions.
Siemian started 11 games prior to his injury against Purdue. He passed for 2,214 yards and seven touchdowns and rushed for five touchdowns last season.
As a junior, he passed for 2,149 yards and 11 touchdowns.
Siemian was a top recruit who passed for 6,144 career yards and 53 touchdowns.
