Source: Notre Dame assistants looking for jobs

A source close to the University of Notre Dame has informed the National Football Post that members of Charlie Weis' coaching staff are actively looking for new coaching jobs in anticiaption of Weis' removal from the head coaching position in South Bend.

Weis, the former offensive coordinator of the New England Patriots, has been rumored to be on the hot seat for weeks, and after another late game collapse in a 45-38 loss Saturday night to Stanford, many expect him to be fired within the week.

In five seasons with the Irish, Weis has complied a record of 35-27, and has gone 16-21 over the past three sesons after taking Notre Dame to BCS bowl games in his first two years in South Bend.
