Source: Redskins give $25,000 signing bonus, highest among undrafted players, to Duke tackle Takoby Cofield
TheĀ Washington Redskins gave Duke offensive tackle Takoby Cofield a $25,000 signing bonus, the biggest bonus of any undrafted rookie, according to a source.
Cofield started 42 consecutive games at left tackle, He played 3,274 career snaps.
Cofield was an All-Atlantic Coast Conference selection.
He played in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl all-star game.
Cofield went to the NFL scouting combine, where he bench pressed 225 pounds 23 times and ran the 40-yard dash in 5.19 seconds and a 30-inch vertical leap.
At Tarboro High School in North Carolina. He was the third-ranked offensive lineman in North Carolina and the 17th-ranked recruit in the state.
