Source: USC player Randall Telfer visits Patriots next week, has visited Eagles

USC tight end Randall Telfer visits the New England Patriots next week and has visited the Philadelphia Eagles, according to a league source. Telfer is coming off a left foot injury that sidelined him at the NFL scouting combine and Pro Day workout. He bench pressed 225 pounds 20 times. The 6-foot-4, 250-pounder caught 65 career passes for 12 touchdowns. Last season, he caught 21 passes for 197 yards and two touchdowns. He was honored with awards by USC for courage, academics, athletic and character. Telfer was a SuperPrep All-American in high school growing up in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.
