Source: USC safety Dion Bailey met with Panthers, Bengals
USC junior free safety Dion Bailey has met with the Carolina Panthers and the Cincinnati Bengals, according to a league source.
Bailey intercepted five passes last season and had 61 tackles, 6.5 for losses.
The converted linebacker is drawing middle-round grades from draft analysts.
He was named second-team All-Pac-12 Conference.
Bailey ran the 40-yard dash in 4.6 seconds at the NFL scouting combine and bench pressed 225 pounds 14 times at his campus Pro Day workout.
At the combine, he had a 34-inch vertical leap.
He recorded 222 career tackles and 11 interceptions.
