Source: veteran safety Bernard Pollard works out for Raiders

Veteran safety Bernard Pollard worked out for the Oakland Raiders, according to a league source. Pollard was last with the Tennessee Titans and has also played for the Baltimore Ravens, Kansas City Chiefs and Houston Texans. Pollard ended last season on injured reserve with a torn Achilles. Pollard, 30, was due $3.1 million this season when he was cut. Pollard voiced his displeasure when scouting executive Lake Dawson was fired, saying the wrong person had been fired.
