Open Letter to Fans and Supporters of The University of West Georgia:
You have watched me mature over the last year as a proud Wolf – both on and off the football field.  You have supported me through the wins and the losses.  I would like to take this time to personally tell you that I have decided to take the next big step and forgo my senior year so I can enter the 2015 NFL Supplemental Draft. Â
This was a monumental and difficult decision. It is filled with the unknown, but, it is also filled with endless possibilities and opportunities.  With the support of my family, mentors, friends, coaches, athletic department and faculty, all my fans and Wolf Pack supporters, I look forward to making you proud in the NFL. Â
I would like to also thank the University of West Georgia for providing an exceptional and nurturing student-athlete environment. Receiving a college education is a privilege and a blessing.  I would like to thank Coach Hall and his staff for your faith in me, your guidance, and your instructions throughout last year. I will carry and apply what I learned from all of you into everything I do. Â
I cannot forget to thank my teammates that have been in the trenches with me.  I thank you for sharing this amazing journey with me and I thank you for your friendship. Â
It has truly been an honor to be a Wolf.  Wherever I go, I will forever remember your kindness, love, cheers, and the good times we have shared.  Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your lives.  Â
I wish everyone at The University of West Georgia much success.  God bless all of you.
 Sincerely yours,
Darrius Caldwell
