Sources: Bobby McCain visits Colts, works out for Patriots, Colts, met with Buccaneers
Memphis cornerback Bobby McCain visited the Indianapolis Colts, according to league sources.
He had a private meeting with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and has worked out privately for the New England Patriots and Colts.
The 5-foot-9, 195-pounder intercepted five passes last season, returning one for a touchdown.
McCain has run the 40-yard dash in 4.51 seconds and bench pressed 225 pounds 17 times. He had a 10-10 broad jump and a 38-inch vertical leap.
McCain had 46 tackles last season.
McCain is projected as a late-round draft pick.
McCain finished his career with a dozen interceptions.
McCain was an All-Conference USA selection as a returner.
As a junior, McCain intercepted six passes and returned two for touchdowns. He finished tied for the most interceptions in the nation.
McCain was a four-year starter.
