Sources: Chargers closing in on deal to keep Brandon Flowers

The San Diego Chargers are closing in on a deal to keep veteran cornerback Brandon Flowers, according to league sources. Flowers has 52 tackles and three interceptions last season. Flowers, 29, is a former Virginia Tech standout who played the first seven seasons of his career with the Kansas City Chiefs.
