Sources: Florida State defensive lineman Eddie Goldman has met with 49ers, Lions, Patriots, Jaguars, Browns, working out for Panthers

Florida State defensive lineman Eddie Goldman has met with the San Francisco 49ers, Detroit Lions, New England Patriots, Cleveland Browns and Jacksonville Jaguars in Tallahassee, Fla., and has a private workout with the Carolina Panthers, according to sources. Goldman is a projected first-round or second-round draft target. He was a third-team All-American selection and a first-team All-Atlantic Coast Conference selection. The 6-foot-4, 336-pounder has 33 1/8 arms and 10 1/8 hands. At his Pro Day workout, he ran the 40-yard dash in 5.27 seconds and had a 26-inch vertical leap, a 4.87 short shuttle and a 7.26 three-cone drill. Goldman had 35 tackles, eight for losses and four sacks as a junior at defensive tackle before declaring early for the draft. Goldman had 19 tackles, three for losses and two sacks as a sophomore at defensive end. Goldman was a blue-chip recruit and an Under Armour All-American who had 15 sacks as a senior with 23 tackles for losses at Friendship Collegiate in Washington, D.C. He also played basketball and was on the track team in high school. He chose the Seminoles over Alabama and Auburn.
