Sources: Indiana running back Tevin Coleman has visits with Panthers, Cardinals, Chargers, Ravens, Lions

Indiana star running back Tevin "Rock" Coleman has visits with the Carolina Panthers, Arizona Cardinals, San Diego Chargers and the Baltimore Ravens, according to league sources. Coleman has previously visited the Detroit Lions. Despite a broken right big toe suffered in the fifth game last season against North Texas, Coleman did not miss a game and emerged as one of the most productive running backs in the nation. He rushed for a school-record 2,036 yards, had four games of 200 yards or more and had eight touchdown runs of 60 yards or longer. He finished seventh in the Heisman Trophy balloting. Coleman had surgery before the NFL scouting combine but has made a speedy recovery and is set to participate in his campus Pro Day workout on April 15. At the combine, Coleman said he hoped to run the 40-yard dash beween 4.39 and 4.4 seconds at his Pro Day. Coleman has drawn comparisons to Philadelphia Eagles running back DeMarco Murray because of his upright running style and series of breakaway runs, like those seen in this highlight video. Coleman rushed for 841 yards before the injury and 1,195 yards after the injury. Coleman averaged 7.5 yards per carry last season. He finished his career with 4,292 all-purpose yards, 3,219 rushing yards and 28 touchdown runs. He had the sesamoid bone in his right big toe repaired in December. The 5-foot-11, 206-pound running back has been projected as a second-round draft pick, though a lot hinges on how he runs the 40-yard dash next month.
