Sources: Zach Mettenberger's season over due to shoulder injury

Tennessee Titans quarterback Zach Mettenberger is out for the remainder of the season wiht a sprained shoulder, according to sources with knowledge of the situation.

The injury won't require surgery, just rehabilitation and rest, according to sources.

Mettenberger got hurt during Sunday's loss to the New York Giants.

Mettenberger aggravated the injury against the Giants after first getting hurt the previous week against the Houston Texans.

The Titans will go with Jake Locker as their starter for the rest of the season.
