Spanos now undecided on Smith, Turner

San Diego Chargers president Dean Spanos has apparently been encouraged by the team's recent resurgence after a six-game losing streak.

According to the San Diego Union-Tribune, Spanos now may be on the fence regarding the futures of general manager A.J. Smith and head coach Norv Turner. Spanos appeared to be all set to fire both during the Chargers' mid-season meltdown.

But now with the Chargers still in the hunt at 7-7 with two games to play, Spanos may be reconsidering, and fan support for the team in its win over Baltimore could have been a plus for maintaining the status quo.
