Steelers-Bengals clash leads to nearly $140,000 in fines

The brawling Pittsburgh Steelers and Cincinnati Bengals piled up nearly $140,000 in total fines. Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict was fined a total of $69,454, including a fine for diving at Ben Roethlisberger's feet. Burfict is planning to appeal all three fines. If they are upheld, he will have incurred a total of just less than $147,000 in fines in his career. Steelers safety Mike Mitchell was fined $23,152 for a hit on a defenseless player.
