Steelers cut Cortez Allen

The Pittsburgh Steelers cut veteran cornerback Cortez Allen. Allen had declined to accept a pay cut. Allen entered the NFL as a fourth-round pick  of the Steelers in 2011. He appeared in 56 career regular-season games  with 18 starts and totaled 150 tackles (25 solo), 34 passes defensed and six interceptions.
