Steelers cut Jacoby Jones

The Pittsburgh Steelers cut former Pro Bowl kick returner Jacoby Jones. Jones was cut as safety Ross Ventrone was promoted from the practice squad. Jones had three fumbles in 15 returns, turning over one. He was benched weeks ago. He averaged 24.4 yards per kickoff return and 3.2 yards per punt return. Jones signed with Pittsburgh in early November after being released by the San Diego Chargers, but he played in only four games with the Steelers.
