Steelers extend contract for Brown

While the Pittsburgh Steelers have having issues getting Mike Wallace to report to camp, one of their other up-and-coming star receivers won't be having such issues.

The Steelers have agreed to a five-year, $42.5 million extension with receiver Antonio Brown, says

That extension keeps Brown, who had 69 receptions last season, under contract through 2017.

Earlier, the Steelers had broken off negotiations with restricted free agent Mike Wallace, who according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, initiated the move to stay away from training camp, not agent Bus Cook, who represents him.

The paper also reported that the Steelers may be looking to trade Wallace during training camp since it looks as if no deal could be worked out as of now.
