Steelers linebacker Lawrence Timmons playing through broken hand

Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Lawrence Timmons recorded 17 tackles, including a dozen solos Sunday in a win over the Baltimore Ravens.

He broke his left hand in the fourth quarter, according to Steelers coach Mike Tomlin.

However, he's expected to play against the Oakland Raiders on Sunday.

“Lawrence Timmons broke his left hand," Tomlin told Pittsburgh reporters. "That’s been casted. He is ready to go. That happened late in the third or early in the fourth quarter of the game. He was able to finish. We fixed it. He has full mobility in all of his fingers, but it has been secured with a cast.”
