Steelers name Joey Porter, Jerry Olsavsky linebackers coaches

The Pittsburgh Steelers named Joey Porter as outside linebackers coach and Jerry Olsavsky as inside linebackers coach.

The hires were made with linebackers coach Keith Butler promoted to defensive coordinator.

Both Porter and Olsavsky played linebacker for the Steelers in the 3-4 scheme they still run.

Olsavsky joined the Steelers staff as a defensive assistant in 2010.

Porter played linebacker for the Steelers for a decade. He had with 60 sacks and 10 interceptions for the Steelers.

Porter was hired as a defensive assistant by the Steelers last year.
