Steelers place Curtis Brown on IR, promote Isaiah Green

Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Curtis Brown was placed on injured reserve today with a torn anterior cruciate ligament suffered against the Cleveland Browns.

Brown is a key special-teams contributor

The former third-round draft pick was replaced on the roster by cornerback Isaiah Green.

The Steelers promoted Green from the practice squad. He has played in three games this season.
