Steelers place punter Sepulveda on injured reserve
The Pittsburgh Steelers officially ended the season of punter Daniel Sepulveda on Saturday, placing him on injured reserve with a right knee injury.
According to the Associated Press via the Washington Post, the Steelers have signed Jeremy Kapinos to fill the void.
The knee injury marks the third time in the past four seasons that Sepulveda's season has been cut short by an injury. He was averaging a career-best 46.1 yards per punt this season.
Kapinos, who replaced Sepulveda after he was injured last year, averaged 41.1 yards per punt a year ago.
