Steelers' Sanders has surgery; Ward should be OK
Pittsburgh Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said Monday that wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders will miss a couple of weeks after undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery, according to the Pittsburgh Post Gazette.
The good news is that receiver Hines Ward, who was knocked out of Sunday night's game with a concussion, should be OK this week.
Tomlin also indicated that linebacker LaMarr Woodley, who missed the Ravens game with a hamstring injury, would have to be monitored this week regarding his return.
