Stephen Hill has torn ACL

Carolina Panthers wide receiver Stephen Hill has a torn anterior cruciate ligament. He's being waived-injured and will then be placed on injured reserve when he clears waivers. “It’s tough anytime you lose a player,” Panthers assistant head coach Steve Wilks said. “We’re just praying that Stephen has a quick recovery, and we’ll move forward.” A second-round draft pick in 2012 of the New York Jets, Hill caught 45 passes in two seasons prior to joining the Panthers' practice squad. The Panthers signed undrafted rookie wide receiver Paul Browning to take over Hill's roster spot. Follow me on Twitter: @RavensInsider Aaron Wilson covers the Ravens for The Baltimore Sun
